New Mediterranean restaurant Oii is now open in Abu Dhabi

Looking for Mediterranean food in the capital? Oii Abu Dhabi is open now and it looks like just the spot. Pull up a seat and get ready to sample Portuguese, Italian, Greek and Spanish dishes in a sleek setting.

You can find Oii Abu Dhabi at the brand new Al Qana development, which has been buzzing lately with loads of new restaurants opening and excitement spilling over from The National Aquarium. Oii means “hi” in Portuguese; it serves a selection of Southern Europe’s favourite dishes and drinks.

Guests can expect dishes such as Portuguese rabanadas and classic pasteis de nata, Italy’s paccheri pasta and beef cheek Milanese, Greek honey thyme saganaki, as well as Spanish tapas. We’ve got our eyes locked on the lobster picatta and paccheri pasta with truffle.

Diners can expect highlights like Portuguese rabanadas and classic pasteis de nata, Italy’s paccheri pasta and beef cheek Milanese, Greek honey thyme saganaki, as well as Spanish tapas, that are all aesthetically presented in a minimal way to create a serious craving for quality Mediterranean flavours.

Oii also features an elegant Santorini soft mixology bar, where you can try mocktails in a luxurious setting (hello, gold bar).

Al Qana has loads of new openings, including Japanese hotspot Otoro, Turkish sweets spot Mado and Tazal: a new café and restaurant with international dishes. While you’re there you should also visit The National Aquarium, where you can see jellyfish, sea turtles and hundreds of sharks. Fancy a swim? You can even get into the tank for the shark dive experience.

With so much to explore at Al Qana, you’re going to want to make a booking for dinner. Why not check out Oii Abu Dhabi?

Open daily, 9.30am-11pm.  Al Qana. info@oiiabudhabi.com, instagram.com/oiiabudhabi (02 628 2983).
